The long-awaited US-India trade agreement appears to be moving closer to completion, though a final deal may still take time. Responding to a question from ANI, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said the agreement is not "imminent" but noted that both sides have identified the key sticking points that remain under negotiation. Greer's remarks come shortly after a "very constructive" phone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, as well as bilateral meetings between Greer and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, who is currently in the United States for trade discussions and the G20 Trade Ministers' meeting.
