US-Bangladesh News | US-Bangladesh Trade Deal: Dhaka Tariffs Set At 19%
The United States has reduced tariffs on Bangladesh to 19 percent under a new trade agreement. The deal gives zero duty access to selected garments made in Bangladesh using US cotton and synthetic fibers. Interim government chief Muhammad Yunus said the agreement follows nine months of negotiations with Washington.
