UP News | Woman Attacked, Strangled On Camera Inside UP Family Court, Husband Among Three Accused

A woman who had come for a maintenance case hearing was allegedly assaulted and strangled on the premises of a family court in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj. Priya Tripathi has accused her husband, Manish Kumar Mishra, and two others, Prince Mishra and Satish Mishra, of attacking her. Her father and sister were also allegedly assaulted when they tried to intervene. According to Priya’s complaint, the alleged incident took place on September 24 after her father’s testimony was scheduled in the case. She has submitted a video clip purportedly related to the incident to Kotwali police and sought registration of an FIR. Police action on the complaint was awaited.
