Animal lovers in Lucknow gathered to send letters to the Supreme Court protesting animal cruelty. These activists urged the apex court to reconsider its recent orders regarding stray dogs. In November, the Supreme Court directed the removal of all stray dogs from public spaces, including areas near schools, hospitals, and railway stations. The court also mandated that the dogs be sterilized and vaccinated before being relocated to designated shelters.
