UP govt fails to check polio in western UP
Uttar Pradesh has seen an outbreak of polio cases this year but the state government has refused to admit that there were serious problems with the immunisation drive. The government has also denied that in some places families belonging to the Muslim community did not allow their children to be vaccinated.
