UP Government Hikes Honorarium For Tutors, 24,000+ Instructors Benefit

The Uttar Pradesh government has nearly doubled the monthly honorarium of 24,717 part-time instructors under Samagra Shiksha, raising it from ₹9,000 to ₹17,000. A felicitation and cheque distribution ceremony was held in Lucknow to mark the rollout of the revised pay structure for the 2026–27 academic session.
