UP Activist, Handed Rs 60 Lakh Recovery Notice Over Caa Violence, Reacts On Withdrawal Order

The Uttar Pradesh government has informed the Supreme Court that it has withdrawn notices issued to 274 anti-CAA protesters in 2019 for recovery of damages done to public property allegedly by them and also proceedings against them have been withdrawn. The move came after the top court's intervention in the case . Alok Pandey spoke with Deepak Kabir , an activist and theatre personality jailed after the anti CAA protest in Lucknow and handed a Rs 60 lakh recovery notice.
