Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal interacted with stakeholders on Seafarer Security, Safety & Seafarer Welfare in Mumbai in the backdrop of challenges to the shipping industry due to the situation in the Black Sea and Strait of Hormuz. The minister spoke to NDTV in an exclusive chat and outlined India's big plans in the sector. He also said the government is working day and night to ensure safety of seafarers.
