Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Slams Opposition's Stance

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale reacted to Badlapur rape accused Akshay Shinde's encounter and slammed Opposition's stance on the matter. He further affirmed that there is no need of doing politics in the case. Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said, "...The whole of the opposition was demanding that he (the accused) should be hanged. The police said that he tried to snatch the gun. So, the police fired at him. There is no need to do any politics in this...The law and order in Maharashtra is strong. But the opposition forces always have a different perspective on things...The government will investigate this matter..."
