Vietnam Boat Accident | Two Survivors Critical As Vietnam Launches Rescue Mission

Minh Tran says Vietnamese authorities are now focused on saving the survivors, with two male victims still in critical condition at Sun Phu Quoc Hospital one on oxygen support and another in a coma. A specialist ICU team from Ho Chi Minh City's Cho Ray Hospital has been airlifted to the island with ECMO machines and advanced life-support equipment. Authorities are also investigating the cause of the accident, looking into rough weather as well as possible safety lapses, including whether passengers were wearing life jackets.
