There is outrage after the Archbishop of Delhi Anil Couto writes a letter to Delhi churches and refers to the "turbulent political atmosphere" threatening democracy and secularism and urges all priests to "pray for the country" ahead of the 2019 national election. The BJP and RSS say the Archbishop was playing communal politics. He says he was not targeting any leader or any government.
