Across India thousands of young men are queueing through the night to join the Army under its contentious new Agnipath scheme, where soldiers will be recruited for only 4 years, a move that had sparked violent protests. As the protests died out, and the recruitment begins, NDTV's spent 12 hours at Agniveer trials in Uttar Pradesh, to understand why these men are willing to endure the hardship of all night queues to become a part time soldier.
