TRAI Chief's Aadhaar Dare: How Safe Is Your Data?
A major controversy has broken over security of India's Aadhaar network after the TRAI chairman in a tweet revealed his Aadhaar number challenging anyone to prove they could harm him with the 12-digit unique number. Since then, people have outed RS Sharma's bank account numbers, Gmail and Yahoo addresses, physical address, date of birth and his WhatsApp photo. Now, the UIDAI has claimed this information was acquired from other sources and did not come from their servers. The Congress has however accused the TRAI chairman of creating more controversy around Aadhaar. The Left wants a probe into the entire matter.
