Karnataka Forest Shootout Row | TN Opposition Demands CBI Probe, Justice For Victims

Opposition parties in Tamil Nadu have moved a calling attention motion over the Karnataka forest shootout, demanding a fair probe, FIRs against forest department officials and a murder case. Leaders have also sought employment and adequate compensation for the victims’ families, while urging the Tamil Nadu government to pressure Karnataka for action. AIADMK floor leader Edappadi Palaniswami backed calls for a CBI probe, citing alleged conspiracies. Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar defended the state’s handling of the matter and said Karnataka would manage its own affairs.
