Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge responded to the Election Commission's reported remark that errors in voter lists should have been raised during the designated objections period. He said "Their job is to be vigilant... Their job is to investigate and correct mistakes... If they ask someone else to do this work, then it is wrong."
