Right in the heart of Aarey Forest lies a sprawling 240-acre township that is home to over one lakh residents. Yet, due to administrative confusion and unfulfilled promises by the developer, the area still lacks a proper water supply network. More than 25 years later, with the promised infrastructure nowhere in sight and the BMC yet to fully step in, residents remain dependent on water tankers as their primary source of water, a supply that is not only more expensive, but often of poorer quality as well.
