This week, India celebrated a major milestone. The country is now polio free. This in a country which as recently as in 2009 had almost half of the world's population of polio patients. What are the lessons we must learn from this incredible success? And how do we make sure that this is not an isolated achievement in a country where health indicators are still dismal?
