Texas Redistricting: Why 50 Democrats Fled Texas, Impact Of Texas Battle On US Midterms Elections?

A political storm in Texas with consequences of a power grab in Washington DC. At the behest of U.S. President Donald Trump, Texas is trying to redraw the state's congressional map, that could create up to five new Republican seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Over 50 Texas Democrats fled the state flying to Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York to block the vote. Republicans voted to issue arrest warrants for the missing lawmakers. But as long as they stay out of Texas, they're safe. They're also being fined $500 per day for being absent. The power struggle continues on who controls the US Congress.
