Telangana News | Telangana Shocker: Official's Assets Estimated To Be Over 100 Crores

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case against the deputy transport commissioner of Mahabubnagar district for possessing assets wildly disproportionate to his known sources of income. While the documented value of Mood Kishan's seized properties is pegged at Rs 12.72 crore, investigators say the actual market value, considering the vast land holdings and commercial interests, could be significantly higher. Estimates put the market value of the assets at over Rs 100 crore. A source told NDTV that the 31-acre agricultural land alone would have a market value of Rs 62 crore. The scale of the discovery is particularly shocking given the official's rank and tenure. An officer of his rank has a gross monthly salary between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh. Raids conducted at Kishan's residence and 11 other locations belonging to his associates revealed a diverse portfolio of luxury and commercial investments
