Telangana News | Teacher Thrashed By Students After Alleged Misconduct At Government College

A Telugu teacher, identified as Bhaskar, was thrashed and beaten by students following allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards female students at the Government Girls Junior College in Devarakonda. Students reportedly confronted the teacher and physically assaulted him, expressing anger over the alleged misconduct. The incident triggered protests on the college premises, with students demanding immediate action against the teacher. Students and relatives protested and confronted the teacher over allegations of harassment and indecent behaviour. The protesting students also demanded a thorough inquiry and urged authorities to register a POCSO case if the allegations are established. Police intervened to control the situation and local education authorities visited the college and launched an investigation.
