Maoist veterans as well as new recruits seem to be getting disillusioned with left extremist ideology. From seniormost maoist leaders who spent over 30 years in the underground movement to teens and those in their 20s, as many as 37 maoists surrendered before the Telangana police chief on Saturday, marking one of the largest single-day capitulations in recent memory.
