A Class 7 student was allegedly assaulted by senior students at Kompally Government High School after the principal reportedly ordered corporal punishment over a minor dispute. Police have registered a case under the JJ Act and BNS, and are probing the role of the principal and two teachers, sparking demands for suspension and action for violating the RTE Act.
