Nine IT employees were injured after a lift in a Noida high-rise building fell unexpectedly, authorities said. The lift in Noida Sector 125's River Side Tower, where the men worked, crashed from the 8th floor injuring all nine occupants. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, the police said. The incident occurred at 5.45 pm, while the employees of Erasmith Technologies were on their way home after work from their office on the 8th floor, a senior police officer said.
