Chennai's Loyola College Teachers, Students On Concerns As Classes Resume

As colleges reopen in Tamil Nadu, NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to a cross section of students and faculty members at Loyola College in Chennai to get a sense of their mood, challenges and concerns. They also share how the college is responding to disturbing stories of students losing parents or siblings to the pandemic, job losses and salary cuts their parents may face and the digital divide. Against the sanctioned 50 per cent physical strength in classes, only around 25 per cent of students turned up.
