Tamil Nadu Ammonia Gas Tragedy | TN News: Major Rescue Ops Underway After Ammonia Leak in Tiruvallur
A major emergency unfolded in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district after an ammonia gas leak was reported at the St. Peter's Paul Seafoods Exports facility near Periyapalayam. Following the incident, personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) 4th Battalion headquarters in Arakkonam were rushed to the site. A 30-member rescue team has been deployed to carry out emergency response, rescue and mitigation operations.
