Speaking to NDTV, Bose described violence as a "cancer" afflicting Bengal's society and said there is a "systemic failure" in law and order enforcement. He criticized sections of the police and bureaucracy for being influenced by political forces and stressed the urgent need to restore public trust and accountability.
