Swine Flu Surge In Delhi: H1N1 Cases Cross 1,700, Masks Advised In Crowded Spaces

Delhi is witnessing a sharp rise in H1N1, or swine flu, cases, prompting authorities to issue a public health advisory. A total of 1,777 H1N1 cases have been reported in the capital this year—around eight times last year's figure-with more than 100 new infections recorded in a single day. Influenza A cases have also crossed 2,300, while COVID cases continue to be reported. Authorities have urged people to take precautions, including wearing masks in crowded or poorly ventilated areas, maintaining hand hygiene and avoiding close contact with people showing respiratory symptoms.
