Survey Shows Boys Better At Using Smartphones: What Can Bridge Divide?

The Annual Status of Education Report 2023 findings say while an equal number of teenagers in the villages of India have reported knowing how to use a smartphone, the boys are much better at using them for more useful skills such as paying bills, booking tickets, and using Google Maps. Do the ASER numbers reflect the stark reality of the society that we already know - that young girls are far more supervised by parents than their brothers?
