Supreme Court Clears Vantara Of All Allegations, Bars Future Proceedings
The Supreme Court on Monday cleared Reliance Foundation-owned Vantara of all allegations related to smuggling, money laundering, and violations of statutory laws in sourcing animals. The court also held that no court or administrative forum in the country shall entertain any complaint or initiate proceedings on these allegations in the future.
The order was based on the findings of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), chaired by a former Supreme Court judge along with three other members, which gave a clean chit to Vantara, located in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
