Supreme Court Allows Petition Challenging Provisions Of Money Laundering Law

The Supreme Court has rejected the Centre's objections and allowed a hearing in petitions challenging provisions of the money laundering law. These are review pleas challenging the Supreme Court's order on the powers of the Enforcement Directorate. The top court had upheld the ED's stringent powers which allows the central agency to arrest, seize, and search without a warrant. A report by NDTV's Arvind Gunasekar.
