Strait Of Hormuz | Cargo Traffic Halted in Strait of Hormuz Amid Iran–US War

Shipping activities through the Strait of Hormuz have been disrupted by the US-Israel-Iran war since 28 February. On Wednesday, shipping vessels were seen lining up off the coast of Ras Al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. Iran has effectively stopped cargo traffic in the narrow strait. About a fifth of the world's oil and natural gas is shipped from the Persian Gulf toward the Indian Ocean through this area. A projectile hit a Thai cargo ship off the coast of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday setting it ablaze.
