Rising star Sreeleela speaks to NDTV in an exclusive interview ahead of the Pongal release of her Tamil debut Parasakthi. The period drama, directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and starring Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan, is set against the 1960s anti-Hindi agitation in Tamil Nadu. Sreeleela calls it one of her best roles and a film that strongly connects with today’s youth. She addresses the January box office clash with Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, saying audiences encourage good cinema.
