Sania heaped praise on Martina and said the secret behind their success was compatibility and mutual trust. The Indian tennis ace said she would not play with anyone she did not trust.

The elated tennis superstar returned home to a massive reception and told reporters that she has a lot to thank her well-wishers for. "I have always dreamt of winning the Wimbledon. It won't have been possible without the prayers and wishes of people in the country," she said. "This win is for India and I will cherish it."
