South Africa's National AI Policy Draft Lists Fictitious Sources
South Africa has withdrawn its first draft national AI policy after revelations that the policy contained AI-generated fictitious sources in its reference list. The polciy stands withdrawn and the South African Minister of Communications has warned of consequences for drafting officials.
