The locking of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account has sparked a controversy with the Congress claiming that the social media giant has locked over 5,000 accounts affiliated to their party. This happened after these accounts posted photographs showing Mr Gandhi interacting with the family of a 9-year-old who was allegedly raped and killed. While the Congress alleges bias, Twitter claims that they enforce their rules in an impartial manner.
