Singur deadlock: Governor defers talks
With the West Bengal government seeking more time, Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi has deferred the much-awaited meeting to resolve the Singur crisis to later on Friday asking both sides to participate in a "mood of reconciliation and compromise".
