Shubhanshu Shukla's Mission Badge Designed By Schoolmate From Varanasi

Lucknow born Shubhanshu Shukla and three other astronauts reached the International Space Station on Thursday as their spacecraft docked with the orbital laboratory after a 28-hour journey around the earth. This is the first time an Indian astronaut has travelled to the International Space Station. The achievement is not just a personal milestone for Shukla, but one that has made Indians around the globe proud. Among them is Shubhanshu's schoolmate Manish Shukla. And not just because they studied in the same school. Manish designed the mission badge adorning Shubhanshu's space suit.
