Amid a diplomatic standoff, Maldives Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer arrived in Delhi on an official visit to discuss bilateral ties between the two countries. India received over $111 billion in remittances in 2022, setting a world record for getting the largest remittances ever recorded and becoming the first country to surpass the $100 billion mark. President Joe Biden has said the US will not supply Israel with American weapons if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders an offensive on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
