Several students of Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia university were seriously injured in the violent clashes that took place after protests in south Delhi against the Citizenship Act on Sunday. The Delhi Police, however, denies having fired bullets at any of the students. Our reporters visited the campus of the university only to find broken furniture and shards of glass in the classrooms. Senior police officer Chinmoy Biswal, who led the police crackdown against protesters yesterday, said that the cops were only trying to disperse the "violent mob" and that they did not have any "issues" against Jamia students. If the police themselves admit that Jamia students did not cause any trouble, why were several of them beaten? Ravish Kumar asks on Prime Time. (Note: Hindi audio)
