Nitish Kumar has dumped the BJP and joined hands with Tejaswi Yadav and the Congress in Bihar once again. Five years after he left the RJD-Congress for the BJP, Nitish Kumar has come full circle. The new government will be a Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance of seven parties and one Independent, Nitish Kumar announced shortly after he and Tejaswi Yadav, along with other opposition leaders,, met the Governor to stake claim. Nitish Kumar will be sworn in tomorrow at 2 pm. Tejaswi Yadav will be the Deputy CM. The same alliance fell apart in 2017, when Nitish Kumar walked out and accused Tejaswi Yadav of corruption. But today, there is a picture of bonhomie. Nitish Kumar has been unhappy with the BJP and believed the BJP was going to do an Uddhav Thackeray on him and split his party. Everyone knows what the BJP had planned in Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav said today. The BJP itself has called Nitish Kumar's move a betrayal. So, what does this mean for Bihar politics and for the national opposition? Because Nitish Kumar also sees himself as a potential prime ministerial candidate. Have the constant flip flops hurt his credibility?
