NDTV's Ravish Kumar takes a walk on the narrow streets of East Delhi, from where the Aam Aadmi Party's Atishi, the BJP's Gautam Gambhir and the Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely will contest in the national election. "I have been roaming about my constituency for the last few months," says Atishi. "We have been campaigning for a long time. The Aam Aadmi Party doesn't do media blitzkrieg campaign of waving a hand and moving on. We connect with the people continuously," says Atishi, surrounded by supporters, some carrying brooms, the party's election symbol, amid the sound of beating drums. She says the AAP's top priority is to get full statehood for Delhi. "We promised we would give affordable houses to people. But the DDA (Delhi Development Authority, under the centre) has been blocking the move. This is one of the reasons why we need full statehood," she says. Atishi has filed a complaint against the BJP candidate and cricketer, alleging that he has two voter cards in two separate neighbourhoods in the national capital.
