Who Will Be Crowned Winner In UP's Mainpuri, Stronghold Of The Yadavs

The 'NDTV Election Carnival' reached Mainpuri on Thursday after travelling hundreds of kilometres via Delhi, Haridwar, Meerut, and Bharatpur. Mainpuri is a seat considered the stronghold of the Samajwadi Party. It has been winning from the Mainpuri seat continuously since 1996. Mulayam Singh Yadav or his family members had been continuously winning elections from this seat. Dimple Yadav has once again been made a candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. This time, the BJP has fielded Jaiveer Singh Thakur as its candidate, who is also a minister in the state government.
