Strong economic data, reports from Europe and optimism that Greece will receive a second bailout boosted sentiment in the US market. The Dow & Nasdaq ended at multi year highs. Bank shares rose, brushing off a warning from Moody's about possible downgrades to credit ratings of 17 global and 114 European financial institutions. US labor, manufacturing and housing data suggested a sustained momentum in key economic sectors.
