Maharashtra drought: water siphoned by NCP sugar barons?

At a time when Maharashtra is facing a severe drought, there is no shortage of water for factories run by politicians who are also sugar barons. Just a short distance from one of Maharashtra's largest dams, one of the worst drought-hit districts in the state, water for farmers is being diverted to factories run by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's own partymen.
