Mosques, mandirs and mahals --- it was a big day in court today with 3 such cases being heard. While a Varanasi court has allowed the survey of the Gyanvapi mosque to continue, the Allahabad High Court has rejected a plea to open the rooms of the Taj Mahal, complete with some stinging words for the petitioners. But the big question is -- are surveys like the Gyanvapi mosque just an academic exercise, or are they an attempt at an Ayodhya case replay?
