Serving Indian Food In Russia: "80% Of Our Diners Are Russians"

Indian food is popular in Russia's capital Moscow, a restaurant-owner, Inderjeet, told NDTV and said there are at least 10 such restaurants here and he has curated the menu and brought cooks from India. Around 80 per cent of the diners are Russians and rest from other ethnicities. The chef at the restaurant said north Indian food is popular among diners and they prefer kebabs, curry and Indian breads. Russia's war with Ukraine has affected tourism and we have seen a drop, the owner said.
