Saurabh Bharadwaj On ED Notice: "This Is A Joke.."
Delhi Health Minister and AAP National Spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj on May 21 commented on Enforcement Directorate (ED) notice to Delhi's Ministery of Home Affairs (MHA) seeking Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) probe over 7-Crores Indian Rupees foreign funding to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He said, "The basic concept behind the ban on foreign funding is to avoid any foreign power to influence the elections in India. Which foreign power will give 7 crores in 8 years to influence the elections? This is a joke. This becomes active in the time of elections and will vanish with the completion of elections. The government itself had admitted in 2014 before the Delhi High Court that they had done the investigation they found nothing."
