Satellite-Tagged Indian Turtle's 4,000 Km Journey Creates History
India’s first satellite-tagged female Olive Ridley turtle, ‘Dhavallakshmi’, has completed a remarkable 4,000-km journey from Dahanu to Oman and back towards Maharashtra’s coast. Found injured and later rehabilitated, the turtle is now helping scientists track migration routes, breeding patterns and marine biodiversity through satellite technology.
