Sarabjit's family seeks Kalam's help
The family of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian national who is facing execution in Pakistan for alleged spying, met President APJ Abdul Kalam on Wednesday. The family requested President Kalam to intervene in the case and save Sarabjit's life. Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur and his daughter Poonam also requested the President to help them obtain a passport and a Pakistani visa.
