S Jaishankar Highlights India's Role in Protecting Intangible Cultural Heritage at UNESCO

Speaking at the inaugural session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar highlighted India’s active role in preserving living traditions. He underscored the importance of languages, rituals, music, crafts, festivals and performing arts, calling them invaluable cultural legacies that must be protected for future generations.
